We have been working with Suffolk for a number of years now, making a difference to how their social care is delivered.
Initially we helped them to develop their ‘Supporting Lives Connecting, Communities’ programme – the first of its kind to be based on our three conversation model.
This began with their first ‘test phase’ called ‘Felixstowe 100, on April 16th 2012. As a result, thousands of people have now experienced a new way of working in Felixstowe.
The programme developed a further 4 test phases to prove the concept was scalable over about one third of their area.
In September 2014 it became their ‘business as usual’ operating model everywhere.
Prof John Bolton said in the final report of the LGA efficiency programme in 2015 that the programme in Suffolk had saved them more than £30 million.
We have continued to support their innovation work, which has included supporting their integrated team development and working with ‘trusted providers’ to assist in the completion of assessments and reviews.
