Using The Three Conversations® to make change really happen

Our offer

Our way of working is not traditional consultancy. We don’t sell consultancy ‘days’ then turn up, tell you what to do, and leave when our contract ends. We believe in the power of partnership and collaboration.

Our support is on offer all the time. When we work with your organisation, we’ll spend time with you where you work, and you’ll benefit from unlimited email and telephone contact with us for the period of our agreement with you.

We’ll provide you with The Three Conversations® resource pack full of useful tools and guides, and access to our network of partners so that you can incorporate learning from elsewhere as you develop your own approach.

We’ll also invite you to our national partners working days, where you’ll meet lots of other people who are fundamentally changing the way they do their work.

Our approach

We’ll use The Three Conversations® to support you to make change really happen. We’ll work with you through a series of specific stages that start with getting your story straight, attract people to get involved, and then deliver your new way of working. Our work is precise and well defined – but you will make it your own, and our story will become your story.

We’ll help you to co-design ‘innovation sites’ with people who express interest – where you can learn how to work differently, gather evidence to demonstrate the difference you’re making, and reflect on your practice to further develop and scale-up your approach.

When our contract with you ends, we won’t just walk away. We’ll provide you with recommended next steps and continued access to our network, and we’ll check back in with you to see how you’re getting on and whether you’d benefit from any further support from us.

What to expect

We have compelling evidence that The Three Conversations® works from the councils that have already benefitted from our support.

We know that if you work with us to adopt The Three Conversations®

  • the satisfaction of people and families you support will increase, as they feel listened to, often for the first time, and supported to get on better with their lives
  • you will have happy, motivated staff who feel liberated, trusted and useful
  • you will reduce your reliance on long term, formal care and will be more able to direct the limited resources you have to where they are needed most.
